Hitachi TRK-8300E Bluetooth Boombox / Ghetto Blaster
A glorious monster boombox or ghetto blaster, dating back to the start of the 1980s. With iconic styling and great sound from it’s 2 woofers and 2 functional tweeters, complete with red flickering LED level indicators and digital clock. The slightly angular styling of the cassette bay door and stylised Metal insignia speak to its true purpose. The TRK-8300E was all about looking cool and making lots of noise!
This is an FM/SW/MW/LW Stereo Radio Cassette with 4 speakers, long antenna and now with added Bluetooth!
As with all of our boomboxes, this Hitachi has been fully serviced and internally modified to add modern bluetooth audio into the original circuitry. This one has been modified using the popular switch method, which tickles your nostalgia by enabling the bluetooth when you press the Play button.

I have one of these in brilliant condition fantastic 80’S. guetto blaster works perfect apart from the tape has stopped working motor works but tape wheels not moving. guessing it could be belt. don’t know where to have a new one fitted.

It really is a nice Blaster! Belts are part of the service if you wish to have it modified? Select “Bluetooth MY Boombox” and choose “Bluetooth & Service” 🙂
